COURSE DESCRIPTION: Understanding the vital role of the Ladder Company at structural fires is a major key to success on the fire ground and is a proven way to save lives. “YOU DON’T NEED A TRUCK TO PERFORM EFFECTIVE TRUCK COMPANY OPERATIONS”
INSTRUCTOR: FF PAUL DeBARTOLOMEO
Paul DeBartolomeo has been a member of the fire service for over 20 years in both the career & volunteer ranks. He is a 14 year veteran of the F.D.N.Y. where he is assigned to Ladder Company 28 in Harlem. Paul is a nationally certified Pro-Board instructor. He is an adjunct instructor for the Connecticut Fire Academy, and provides lectures and Hands-On Training Nationwide. Paul is a lead instructor for the F.D.I.C. H.O.T. programs, and has been featured in Fire Engineering’s Training Minutes. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Connecticut, and is currently pursuing a degree in Emergency Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
